Heavy sentences against Sahrawi political prisoners following an unjust judgement

The court of the second degree, in Elaayoune, pronounced, today, Tuesday April 17, 2007, of heavy sentences against three Sahrawi political prisoners, and deferred the lawsuit of six others.
Thus, the Sahrawi political prisoners, Mr. Elwali AMIDANE, and Mr. Bachri BEN TALEB, were condemned to five years of prison, whereas Mr. Yahdih ETAROUZI was condemned to one year and half.
In the same way, the Court of Appeal deferred the lawsuit of six other Sahrawi political prisoners, at May 15, 2007. It is about Mr. Bhaha Mohamed Salem, Mr. Mohamed Mouloud Elhajaj, Mr. Daida Abdessalam, Mr. Elyazid Ben Ammar, Mr. Sheik Ben Allal and Mr. Zougham Ghali, who all had been condemned to three years of prison by the court of first authority on March 20, 2007.
The court of Elaayoune was encircled by a heavy Moroccan security arsenal and several Sahrawi citizens, who came to attend the lawsuit, were insulted and prohibited to reach inside the court.
